Growing Up

Unstop able forces are behind the phenomenon of growing old. You have no choice as to whether or not you will mature.  Competition and pressure drive you forward and prevent you from holding onto the comforts of the past. At least temporarily, until new ones can be established. It all seems so impossible. So many goals to reach in such a short amount of time.  So many deadlines to meet before your out of time. However. Throughout all this. Throughout all the anxiety of growing older, you know you will succeed. Because no one alive has failed to become old.
